Academy of Music
The Accademia del Ridotto, a project by Tetracordo Foundation, is an advanced musical training center. Its headquarters is located within the “Ridotto” (Boxes Foyer) of Theatre of Stradella (Province of Pavia – 60 Km. from Milan), from where it derives its name.
The Academy, sponsored by Italian Ministry of Culture, aims to contribute to the professional training of musicians capable to enter the labour market, interfacing with the structures, agents, production and management of live entertainment.
The Academy organizes three types of training courses: annual courses, short courses, masterclasses.

ADVANCED TRAINING – THIRD LEVEL
Three-year postgraduate program of specialization, reserved for students with Accademia del Ridotto’s Specialization Diploma or Master’s Degree issued by a Conservatory or University
Specialization Diploma
ADVANCED TRAINING – SECOND LEVEL
Two-year training course for gifted students with professional experience, with Teaching or Concert qualification
Professional Diploma
ADVANCED TRAINING – FIRST LEVEL
Three-year training course, intended for students with refined artistic and technique qualities

Enrollment
To attend Accademia del Ridotto courses, to which it is possible to enroll at any time, you need to pass an admission exam. The program will be decided by the student according to the skills required (for further information, please check the course tabs). The exam can take place face-to-face or online, by sending a video recording.

The Accademia del Ridotto reserves the right to qualify students that present a recognized outstanding curriculum profile, exempting them from the admissions exam.
Eligible students will be admitted to lessons upon availability of places. The lessons will start in the first or second term, according to the registration date.
